What's the Story? - We first heard about the disused quarries at Winspit, Worth Matravers, about 20 years ago. Keen to explore we trundled off with the then young children and made our way down the steep footpath to be greeting by the most magnificent view when the early evening sunlight caught the water. After the climb back up we made our second new discovery, The Square and Compass pub where we sat with a pie and a pint and watched the sun go down.
Artist Richard Watkin paints the evocative locations and landscapes of Dorset from the beaches and towns of Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch to the dramatic Jurassic Coastline and picturesque Purbeck villages. He paints with acrylics in a bold graphical style, his travel print collection evokes a sense of nostalgia, a time when the pace of life was slower and the sun was always shinning!
Free Postage - We say to allow up to 7 working days for delivery but it is usually quicker. Smaller prints are sent in recycled board backed envelopes and wrapped in cellobags that can be put in your recycling bin. A2 prints will be sent wrapped in acid free tissue paper and rolled in a cardboard tube.
