What's the Story? - The Victorian Swanage Pier was built in 1895 for passenger ship services, after falling into decline it has recently been restored. The painting features the seat at the end, the perfect place to sit and watch the ferry services which run daily throughout the summer season mainly to Poole Quay. The pier also hosts a successful diving school, the oldest in the UK, and is visited annually by historic steamers including the Waverley paddle steamer.
Original - Original painting 50cm x 70cm. Acrylic on canvas. Varnished and ready to hang, painting wraps around the side/edge of the canvas therefore framing is optional.
