Swanage Beach Huts Original Painting (50 x 70cm)

Size Guide

What's the story? When most of us look at the beach huts in Swanage we see - beach huts! Not Richard, he saw a Piet Mondrian inspired painting. Piet, a Dutch pioneer of abstract art in the 1920’s and 30’s, painted in a simplified abstract style, restricted to the three primary colours and to a grid of black vertical and horizontal lines on a white ground. Rich used a similar palette of primary colours and added the cyclist and dog as a fun element.

Original: This is the original painting Richard did to create his prints. It's 50cm x 70cm acrylic on canvas signed  and dated by Richard. Varnished and ready to hang the painting wraps around the side/edge of the canvas therefore framing is optional.

We have taken into consideration that you may not want to go to the expense of having your prints professionally framed (although they do look great when they are!) so have kept to standard sizes -

A4 Prints - 21cm x 29.7cm will fit 'off the shelf' A4 frames

A3 Prints - 29.7cm x 42cm will fit 'off the shelf' A3 frames, but check frame measurement first

50cm x 70cm Prints - 52cm x 72cm which includes a 2cm white border which can be altered if necessary to fit an 'off the shelf' frame

Calendars - These are A4 when folded, so easy to pop in the post as a pressie. Double A4 when opened and hanging.
