What's the Story? - The rather unusual square stone St Aldhelm’s Chapel, believed to have been built in the late 12th century, stands 354 feet above sea level on the wonderful exposed and wild headland, which gives it its name. The surrounding grassland is filled with wild flowers including the early Spider Orchid, the first Orchid to flower in the UK. The simplicity of the chapel appealed to Richard along with its wild and isolated location when it was suggested he should paint it by a volunteer coastguard at the local station.

What is Giclée Printing? - The word Giclée is derived from the French verb gicler meaning “to squirt or spray” and is used to describe a fine art digital printing process combining pigment based inks with high quality archival quality paper to achieve print of superior archival quality and a print life of more than 85 years. We use a 12 colour injet printer and print on 315gsm 100% acid free cotton paper The smaller prints are wrapped in cellobags that can be put in your recycling bin and the A2 prints are wrapped in acid free tissue paper. Please note we are making a gradual change to fully compostable and biodegradable bags.
