What's the story?
Richard had wanted to paint Worth Matravers in the Purbecks for a while. He knew he would feature the Square & Compass a favourite watering hole of ours for a pie and a pint. He was just waiting to find the right car and after extensive research he came across an image of this beauty. A modified MG Q Type, built in 1934 the 750cc engine was capable of speeds up to 120 miles an hour, perfect for exploring the Isle of Purbeck.
Prints and Posters - The prints are created from Richard's original painting, we print them ourselves using a method known as Giclėe, the paper is 100% cotton with a gentle texture. Your A4 or A3 print will arrive cello wrapped with a recycled cardboard backing ready for framing. The 50cm x 70cm print will arrive rolled in a large cardboard tube. Richard signs all prints.

Giclée Printing - this involves squirting or spraying microscopic dots of pigment based-inks onto high quality art paper (not as messy as it sounds!). The print is colour corrected to attain the closest possible match to the original artwork and will keep its vibrant colours for many years to come.
Paper - we use a natural soft textured bright white matt 315gsm paper for all prints. The paper's bright white base and gentle texture delivers a quality print with a wide colour gamut, it's 100% acid free and accredited by the Fine Art Trade Guild as being of archival quality.
Free delivery on all prints - We send the prints via myHermes or Royal Mail so you will be able to track your order and we will know they have been delivered safely!

What's the story?Lymington, Hampshire, is a bit of a favourite with the Watkin's. We have spent many a happy hour exploring the individual shops and alleyways. What's the story?Who wouldn't want a beach hut at this fabulous location? Sadly we can't afford one so Richard did the next best thing and painted them. Really great to meet someone at Mudeford Art Weeks who told us we had captured her hut in the painting - lucky lady!...
What's the story?Richard's love of the Vulcan bomber began when he had the opportunity to go inside the cockpit as a lad in the Air Cadets at RAF Scampton in the 1960's. He wanted the bomber to be the focus of the painting so he kept the skyline and beach simple with...
