What's the Story? When Richard was living in Shaftesbury he often visited the picture perfect village of Milton Abbas, featured in the TV series To Serve Them All My Days (for those of us old enough to remember). The Series 1 Land Rover fits into the scene perfectly and he chose to paint it green as the original colours for the Land Rover were dictated by supplies of aircraft cockpit paint, therefore early vehicles only came in various shades of light green.
Prints and Posters - The prints are created from Richard's original painting, we print them ourselves using a method known as Giclėe, the paper is 100% cotton with a gentle texture. Your A4 or A3 print will arrive cello wrapped with a recycled cardboard backing ready for framing. The 50cm x 70cm print will arrive rolled in a large cardboard tube. Richard signs all prints.
Original Painting - Own an original piece of art at a reasonable price. If you are interesting in the original painting Richard completed for this print click here for more details>

Giclée Printing - this involves squirting or spraying microscopic dots of pigment based-inks onto high quality art paper (not as messy as it sounds!). The print is colour corrected to attain the closest possible match to the original artwork and will keep its vibrant colours for many years to come.
Paper - we use a natural soft textured bright white matt 315gsm paper for all prints. The paper's bright white base and gentle texture delivers a quality print with a wide colour gamut, it's 100% acid free and accredited by the Fine Art Trade Guild as being of archival quality.

What's the Story? Richard decided to revisit Gold Hill working from a newer photo taken from a slightly different angle. He does have a soft spot for Shaftesbury as he lived there in the mid 80s and would often make the perilous journey down Gold Hill to The Two Brewer's Pub. Prints...
