What's the story?
Richard chose this particular motor yacht as he built a Balsa Wood model of it when he was a kid. The design is based on ones found in the USA in the 1920’s and 30’s, used for commuting from the wealthy suburbs of New York into the financial centres of Manhattan. Admittedly you’re unlikely to find one in Mudeford but its striking colours pitted against the dark background give it the nostalgic feel that Rich was after.
Original Painting - This is the original painting on canvas by Richard and is 50cm x 70cm. It is painted using acrylics, varnished and ready to hang. The painting wraps around the side/edge of the canvas therefore framing is optional.
