What's the Story? - This is the first of a proposed collection of paintings titled 'Lost In Dorset'. Instead of titling the painting Richard is allowing the viewer to create their own narrative. Impending Storm at Durdle Door allows one to imagine standing on the iconic beach waiting for the storm to arrive, or scurrying away before it does. The smells and sounds the dramatic sky, is it at the end of a day on the beach or have you just reached there after the climb down?
Thank you to local amateur photographer Erin Breen for the inspiring photo.
Free Postage - We say to allow up to 7 working days for delivery but it is usually quicker. Smaller prints are sent in recycled board backed envelopes, A2 prints will be sent rolled in a cardboard tube.
What is Giclée Printing? - The word Giclée is derived from the French verb gicler meaning “to squirt or spray” and is used to describe a fine art digital printing process combining pigment based inks with high quality archival quality paper to achieve print of superior archival quality and a print life of more than 85 years. We use a 12 colour injet printer and print on 315gsm 100% acid free cotton paper The smaller prints are wrapped in cellobags that can be put in your recycling bin and the A2 prints are wrapped in acid free tissue paper.
We have taken into consideration that you may not want to go to the expense of having your prints professionally framed (although they do look great when they are!) so have kept to standard sizes, these all include an approximate 5mm white border -
