What's the story? - We visited Durlston Country Park, Swanage on a cold March day just after the birth of our first grandchild. Having taken lots of shots Richard decided the view of the Great Globe with the top of the Castle in the background made the best composition. Constructed in Greenwich in 1887 and made from Portland stone, it's surface shows the continents, oceans and certain more specific areas of the world. Around the Globe is a set of stone plaques carved with quotations from English and Roman poets and the Bible, as well as facts about the natural world. We remember the days when you could walk right up to the globe which is now protected by a fence.

Paper - we use a natural soft textured bright white matt 315gsm paper. The paper's bright white base and gentle texture delivers a quality print with a wide colour gamut, it's 100% acid free and accredited by the Fine Art Trade Guild as being of archival quality.

What's the Story? - The last Jurassic Coast painting (for now!) the historic village of Abbotsbury, this is the landscape of Thomas Hardy with St Catherine's Chapel in splendid isolation high on the hilltop overlooking Chesil Beach and the Isle of Portland. The barrel-vaulted 14th century chapel was built by the monks of...
What's the Story? - This is one of the final paintings for the Jurassic Coast collection. Not many people attempt the arduous walk from either Lulworth Cove or Tyneham to Mupe Bay and Flowers Barrow and we have to confess we didn't make it! Instead Richards inspiration was a photograph by Mark...
What's the Story? - Ringstead Bay on the Jurassic Coast is a well kept secret, a charming bay with pebble beach, clear water and views across Weymouth Bay to Portland. On the day we visited the seaweed washed up by the tide had dried to a crisp rich dark terracotta, contrasting perfectly...
What's the Story? - The coastline of the Golden Cap Estate is part of the Jurassic Coast, Britain's only natural World Heritage Site, the highest point on the South Coast, the views in all directions are spectacular on a clear day.
