Original: This is the original painting Richard did to create his prints. It's 50cm x 70cm acrylic on canvas signed and dated by Richard. Varnished and ready to hang the painting wraps around the side/edge of the canvas therefore framing is optional.
What's the story? - The coastline of the Golden Cap Estate is part of the Jurassic Coast, Britain's only natural World Heritage Site, the highest point on the South Coast, the views in all directions are spectacular on a clear day. Back in the 1960's Richard's family were frequent visitors to Charmouth, they would hire a beach hut for the day and walk up to Golden Cap fossil hunting. At the end of the day they would have their supper sitting in the car on the grass car park before the drive back to Taunton.
