What's the Story? - This original painting of Poole Quay Power Station was the start of a collection of paintings on the theme of historic Poole. The composition features the Power Station, constructed of locally produced bricks in the late 1940's at Hamworthy and demolished circa 1993. In the foreground a coal ship (collier) is being towed by the tug Princetown.

Richard paints with acrylics on a linen canvas and this piece is 50cm x 50cm. Varnished and ready to hang the painting wraps around the side/edge of the canvas therefore framing is optional.
