Westbourne Arcade

What's the Story? - This is Richard's first painting of this beautiful Victorian arcade. The Grade II Listed structure with its symmetrical façades of red brick with stone dressings at either end and gothic style windows was of particular appeal to Rich. The glass roof, carried by wrought iron semi-circular ribs and encaustic floor tiles further enhance the cathedral-like appearance. A retailer in the arcade requested the painting which he then went onto sell in his shop, giving Richard the perfect excuse to paint it again from a different view.

Prints and Posters - These are created from Richard's original painting, we print them ourselves using a method known as Giclėe, the paper is 100% cotton with a gentle texture. A4 and A3 prints will arrive cello wrapped with a recycled cardboard backing ready for framing. A2 prints will be send rolled in a cardboard tube. Richard signs all prints.
