Southbourne Funicular Railway

What's the story? - Richard has fond memories of childhood holidays spent in Bournemouth. The family travelling down from Taunton in their Morris Minor Traveller in the early 1960's. Experiencing his first taste of Camp Coffee, being sick on his Dad's lap watching the ice skating show in Westover Road ice rink. And going on the Fisherman's Walk Cliff Funicular Railway in Southbourne. The maroon colour palette was chosen to represent British Railways Mark 1 coaches of the early 1960s.
